No other technology in the world offers this level of capability. CT stands for Computed Tomography, and the components of CT scan technology used in industrial applications are similar to those in medical CT scanners. These scanners take multiple readings from various angles and convert CT greyscale images into voxel-based 3D point clouds.
Once the CT scanner generates the point cloud, Exact Metrology can create a CAD-to-part comparison map, dimension the part, or reverse engineer it to meet our customers’ needs.
